Chapter 3: Birth of a Company


With "the Agency" gone and an opportunity to make new friends;
I was able to come across Stephen Camacho, a guitar player, comedian and a gamer type of muhn. We actually became friends after a while and I would hang out with him and ACE before classes start (since classes then would start at 8:30) and during breaktime.



At the same time, I was already friends with the Hiruko Twins (Trisha and Denise) and Seadd.
During our last week of the school year, Stephen had an idea. He wanted to go out with Me, Ace and Trisha at the same time. I wasn't able to take the opportunity when he told me the same thing during our Christmas Party. Thankfully, I was finally allowed to go out of school alone by the last day.
Trisha invited Kai to come along and I invited Seadd to join us.



So it was the last day of exams (hurrah!!!). Everyone finished their Math Tests and we were all set to leave. I asked Stephen during snack time if he was gonna wear white later; but then he said:


"ay onga pala!!! hehehe sorry, d ako makakasama ngayon. may papanoorin ksi kami sa cellphone ng bus conductor namin."



I was like WTF!!! in my mind. He planned the gimmik, invited us and he blews us by the last minute. That was just really rude........ I mean c'mon!!! everyone in the group was expecting him to come. Well what could be done? It was already planned and we were ready to go....... with or without him.



I got my first "enchiolata" of freedom right after that class. Trisha was the only person who wore white. We all wore something different.
So we ate lunch, watch a movie, get a group picture and play at Timezone.
I left early........ ACE left early....... Seadd left early....... at 5. I don't know what time did the Hiruko Twins left? any ideas?



So what's this gotta do with "the Company" or "the muhns"?
I didn't mention it in the whole post.
Well. This chapter is indeed called the "birth of a Company" because this is where it all started. The gimmik.......... that would soon become "the COMPANY OUTING" and would expand to new agendas, new places and new people to come with.
The founding muhns: (Me, Trisha, ACE and Kai) were all here and sadly its the first and only outing that we went out alltogether.
The "muhns" I went out during that day would turn out to be my best buds........... the muhns who were with me during my ups and downs in my high school life.
There were only 2 pictures taken during that gimmik. Trisha deleted them in her Friendster a long time ago.......... so I can't post them.

Chapter 2: The Agency



Before the Company or the muhns was formed. I (Jolo), Seadd, Charles and Kai (Denise) had a small group that was simply dedicated to annoy people and manage to get away with it.


This group called "The Agency" probably lasted for about a month when we were in our first high school year here in OB.
For today, I will talk about how this organization came to be and how it sadly ended. (:-()




So if I can remember this properly. It was Seadd's idea to create a small group that would get in the minds of different people and irritate them.
Seadd was the first to show this in our class:
So it was snack time. Kim just returned to the classroom drinking Coke. Seadd, as usual, was busy getting chased by me (XD), maybe I got annoyed by one of his antics again.
She suddenly crashes in front of Kim and spills the Coke in her vest.
It made her chase Seadd all around the 4th floor. From the HS faculty lounge to Cafe Lycee and back to our classroom. It wasn't long till Kim got the best of him and strangled him.
The whole class was laughing nuts about this.
Soon though, Seadd was already annoying half of the class. From me, to Christell, to K.L. (you know who she is) herself.


It wasn't long till I started to join in his antics and annoy 4th year band members during our practice.
Charles followed soon after and we had a group to make of ourselves in.
It wasn't long till Charles started to make his own rules in our group. He had this idea of making a list of the people we annoyed most. This list kept track of our records.
Another one of his ideas was a name for our group. I remember Charles thinking of something during band practice. Then screaming this to me:


"Jolo, maaaay name na tayo sa group natin!! Shhhh.... wag kang maingay. Tawag natin sa group na toh "KIDS NEXT DOOR......... TO ANNOY PEOPLE". Ano ok ba?"


The name , in my opinion, wasn't that good since it was long. Though he kept using it when he calls my attention.
So, with an annoying group of 3 boys; how does Kai enter in this organization?
Believe it or not........ Charles actually hired her to make the list for the "most annoyed people"
Kai would enter our group as "the scribe" according to Charles. It was this time that we would assign our individual codenames: Shrimp, CryBaby, Mental and Jolo (YES!!! PLAIN JOLO......... what a codename!!! wait its not a codename?)



A few months passed by and the group started to have a lot of problems. First is Charles, he was taking control over the group in a serious manner. I have started to get annoyed to Seadd (not anymore today) and I've taken my mind off the group for 2 reasons. Love (uyyyy!!!) and Grades.
Kai wasn't interested with the group anymore. She did not have the time to keep track of the list anymore.
It was these things that made the passion of being an "agency member" fade as time passes.
And by December, the agency was considered obsolete. The meetings were gone. Annoying people became tiring and boring. Members of the group have moved on to bigger and more promising things. And the List was "lost and gone forever" according to Charles.


"The Agency" never opened up to the entire batch. No one hardly knew it and it became a boring gimmik. But the legacy it left behind led me to form "the Company". A much more better group than its predecessor and actually startled alot of people I know.

CHAPTER 1: the muhns, the company, whatever you wanna call them

Formerly known as the Company, the muhns are a rag tag group of gamers that formed during my 2nd HS year accdg. to MEIJI.


Founded by "the Founding muhns" accdg. to MEIJI

the muhns are now spanned in the entire 4th year batch


But alot of people have been asking what does the word "muhn" mean?
Is it found in the dictionary?
No, my fellow readers, its not found in the dictionary nor is it a real word

(though I hope it gets in the urbandictionary.com someday)

Muhn simply means "friend" or its a term you can call to someone you're talking.



So enough with that. In this post I shall be introducing the muhns. Not too detailed as I will explain them in detailed form in the future posts.

Ok. So I don't have any pics with Karl and Mark but I'll bet that you know both of them.

The first set of muhns I'll mention are the "founding muhns" the original group of friends who founded "the muhns" and have expanded it with other people



Angelo "ACE" Mejia. founding muhn. Codenamed A----. A fellow gamer if I must say myself.
I befriended him when we were grade 5 during the Intramurals auditions for the participants of the games. I've known this muhn since CASA.(Kindergarten - Prep. in OB)


Trisha "Meiji" Gallardo. founding muhn. 1/2 of the Hiruko Twins. Codenamed D----. A Non-Commissioned Officer. Got Interested in games when we were in our 3rd high school year. I befriended her when we were grade 6 during the 3rd quarter Exams. Like ACE i've known her since CASA.


Denise "Kai" Dela Cruz. founding muhn. 1/2 of the Hiruko Twins. Codenamed F------. Got interested in videoganes the same time as I did. I befriended her during our 1st high school year.
A member of "the agency" (I'll elaborate this in the following chapters). I've known her since Grade 5.


the following members are the ones who had codenames when we formed the group.



Lorenzo "UcZeta" Escobar. Codenamed N---. A hardcore gamer and a gundam collector. Another Non-Commissioned Officer. ACE introduced me to Lorenzo when we were 1st year.


Alban Batacan. Codenamed Z---. Another hardcore gamer. Met him during our 1st year intramurals in a funny and weird way (I'll elaborate about this in the following chapters). It was only when ACE introduced him to me when we became friends. I've known him since 1st year.


Seadd "EstoPerez" Bondoc. Codenamed E---. A fellow gamer and band member. Became
friends with him along with Charles during our 1st high school year. A nosy little kid whos main purpose in life is "to annoy people". (don't believe me? ask him yourself XD)



the following are members of the group but don't have codenames anymore. Maybe cuz we got lazy of commissioning them one?


Karl "Bruno" Robosa. A muhn who has great interest in playing videogames but hardly does not have time to play one. Met him during our 1st high school year when Seadd introduced him to me. A member of the High School Glee Club. He's a kind of muhn who has the same problems as I had/have.


Kevin "Bobby D" Te. Fellow Gamer. Trisha's onee-chan (brother if i'm not mistaken). A transferee student from Sta. Ana branch. Befriended him last year.


Mark Evangelista. A hardcore gamer. A class clown and a person who's patiently waiting for "Papa JC" (Jesus Christ) to get him. I don't know what the hell that means. Befriended him during our 2nd high school year when ACE introduced him to me.


Charles Patricio. Fellow Gamer and Band Member. Met him during Grade 3 when Andre introduced him to me. Became friends with him when I moved to their section in B.
So those are the group of friends that I have till this day. I don't know if there will be people who'll add up to this group but its fine by me.




That ends CHAPTER ONE of the "Blogspot Project". I'll start with the real story in the next post. Till then, I'll leave you readers with what I told him.

The "Blogspot Project" Introduction

Starting Today I'll be creating blog posts dedicated to a rag tag of muhns who have been with me during my entire high school life. For 15 Years (16 this Tuesday :-D) i've been living in this world. With the help of my friends, family and most importantly OUR LORD ALMIGHTY GOD; i was able to survive them all

The "Blogspot Project" as named should contain info from my 1st year days and 4th year days right now. I'll start and end every post with a quote that I or any of my friends mentioned during that time.

I don't know how many posts I would come out with by the end of this series so bear with me if the series should take as long as 10 posts or more XD.


so without further ado. I shall start the Blogspot Project in my next post. :-D

So I was reading one of Nico's latest blogs on her blogger
Then I noticed something at the end of it.
She said that a lot of popular people have been dying this year.
Not that I'm shocked...... just want to reflect :))

Well she's right though
alot of famous people have been dying this year
I mean look at it...........

Sen. Ted Kennedy


who's next people!?!?!
I'm wondering who..............

Ahead ACET Refresher Course 2009

TIME: 10:40 AM - 6:00 PM
PLACE: SM Megatrade Conference Room B, 5th Floor


I didn't take the time and effort to post the UPCAT Refresher course, but what the hell its a long time go and I'm too lazy to post it.

Alot of people didn't attend the refresher course though. But it was still fun.
Unfortunately, she was one of those who didn't came :(

Well me and Katrina arrived at SM Megamall at around 10:00
we saw Seadd and Gio outside waiting for the doors to open. I told them that you can go in since we need to be in the hall by 10:40. We got in, and saw Chelsea behind us. We went to the Hall and registered for our seats, our free lunch and snacks.

The program started late though. Since alot of seats were still empty.

BTW. Today was also the day that SM would hold an Otaku convention in the Megatrade Hall next to the conference room. We would expect alot of people cosplaying by the time we were dissmissed.

So back to the refresher course, the program started with the singing of the National Anthem and the opening remarks by the founder of Ahead. We started our discussion with the Language Proficiency part. As usual Gio, would go out to the restroom at the start of every subject disucussion. It was slightly boring and EDWARD ,some guy who acted like Angelo Conferido, started getting attention from the room when he was called to answer a question.

Lunch followed afterwards. Shakeys sponsored our food. It was a basic Chicken and Rice combo. We were upset that there was no mojos served unlike last time. But platters of chicken and rice are served at the sides of the room in case we wanted more.

After lunch, we had a game. The game is a trivia quiz of Ateneo, one person would represent his or her class in the review center (if Hannah Omengan was our representative, then we could have won the game). The winner would get an extra box of pizza for his class later at snack time.
Unfortunately, our class didn't win.

Math was next, Sir Wacks POGI was going to teach us the different techniques that we can use for the ACET. We had a game at the end of the disucussion and our team lost again.
We had snacks, a single slice of hawaiian pizza, for 30 mins.

After snacks, we had another game. This game was funnier cause it composed 3 "best" categories, BEST COMEDIAN, BEST PERSON WITH A SOFT BODY and BEST PERSON WITH THE HARDEST GRUNT. The "BEST PERSON WITH A SOFT BODY" was the funniest category since the contestants needed to dance around to the tune of "Careless Whisper".

After the game, we had our final discussion which was Logical Reasoning and Abstract Reasoning. This was the time when our brains started to hurt because of too much information.
Couldn't describe more though.

We were supposed to be dismissed after the last discussion but EDWARD's wallet was lost and accdg. to the teachers, someone stole it. After a little while we were told to leave the room as the teachers and EDWARD had to discuss about the stealing of his wallet.

When we went out, we saw everyone wearing anime costumes and waiting outside the convention. Probably the convention was full or they were done for the day. I wasn't done though. Me and my cousins went to G4 to watch GI JOE which is AWESOME.
